Honor the Memory of a Loved One
When Face It purchased the Northwoods property in 2023, we envisioned more than a retreat center. We wanted to create a place where men could find hope, experience connection, and remember they never have to face life’s struggles alone. We also knew it should be a place to honor the lives of those we have lost to suicide, a place where their memory would continue to matter and where future generations would be reminded that every life leaves a lasting impact.
Throughout the property, memorial benches provide quiet places to pause, reflect, and remember. Each bench becomes a shared tribute, honoring the lives of multiple men while offering families, friends, and visitors a place to sit, remember, and simply be.
There are two ways to support the Northwoods Memorial Bench Project.
Memorial Engraving
For a donation of $250, the name of your loved one will be permanently engraved on one of our memorial benches. Each bench honors multiple lives, creating a lasting tribute that reminds us we are never alone in our grief or our hope.
General Donation
If you would simply like to support the Memorial Bench Project, donations of any amount are welcome. Your gift helps us purchase, install, and maintain additional memorial benches throughout the Northwoods property so that more families have a place to honor those they have lost.
As memorial dedications are received, new benches will be added throughout Northwoods, ensuring this place of remembrance continues to grow for years to come.
