Alive At The Market

The third annual Alive at the Market is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event that is open to the public.

Admission will include live music and comedy; a barbecue picnic catered by the Farmers Market; and a silent auction featuring a wide range of donated items. Doors Open at 4pm.  A comedy hour featuring local comedians Tim Harmston and Mary Mack will begin at 5:30 p.m.  The evening’s festivities will also include great music by the School of Rock and Kevin Chalfant, the first stand in singer for Steve Perry with Journey LIVE!!!

The event is hosted by  Lori Gardner. Gardner’s younger brother, Eric Page Jacobson, succumbed to his battle with depression when he died by suicide at age 39 on July 15, 2010.  Jacobson was a Minneapolis-based comedian (stage name Eric Page) who enjoyed local and national success in the late 90s as a feature act and headliner. He was chosen to perform at a Roast for former Gov. Jesse Ventura, and was once dubbed “human cartoon” by the Star Tribune’s Colin Covert.
