Thank you Bill for your insight and for honoring Bradley in the work you do. He would be proud and especially joyful to know that he is helping others and making a difference. He was gifted at building and nuturing friendships and has certainly inspired many, including his mother. Bless you, Mark and Faceitfoundation.org

Hi Mark and Bill,
Congratulations on your wonderful journey from San Francisco to New York in 3.5 months. You have toyuched many lives, both those you met on your trip and those of us at home following your journey. Hopefully after you rest for a while we can invite you back to St. Katharine Drexel where you can share some of your experiences and talk a bit about more about men's depression and how we can help to overcome it.
Thanks so much,
Tom Carey

The important message is that depression is a disease and needs to be recognized and treated as such. It's not something people should just suck up and try to get through on their own. And it's not "unmanly" to take medication for it.
My doctor said the best thing to me when I was diagnosed. She told me that if she told me I had thyroid disease and needed to take medication, I wouldn't think twice about it. And then she said I should think the same way about depression meds.

Amazing to have watched as you all traveled across the country. Thank you for what you did and what you do! We were able to share with friends and family of what your foundation is all about and perhaps in ways you may never know have helped many, many people. God bless you all!

You made it, Mark! Congratulations on the journey of a lifetime. The changes you went through showed in your blog. You are not the same person you were when you left. I truly look forward to seeing where Face It goes in the future. You and Bill have started a venture that needs to go forward and grow so that others can benefit from what you have found. Really proud of you, brother!

Mark, I wanted to share a comment Bill made in an earlier blog that I think will help. He talked about going up the mountains - in anticipation of the trip down. I am totally paraphrasing his words but I thought alot about how life is both an up and a down. Of course you are tired! Physically you have demanded day after day that your body perform. Mentally your mind has been on a daily journey. Spiritually we have all been with you. Your pain and wounds are where love and light will enter. You have more than opened the door for depression awareness - you have knocked a brick wall down. You have let the sun shine through. There is nothing fake about your loooooong ride. It is almost over and will we welcome you back to Minneapolis.
