Over 7 million men in America suffer in silence with depression each year. Everyday in the United States we lose 75 men, young and old to suicide, largely due to their untreated depression. Why does depression cause so much anguish? Stigma and a lack of understanding are the primary reasons men won’t come forward. And our current approach to treating depression is not working.
Face It Founder Mark Meier and his 15 year old daughter Anna are taking action and they will ride from coast to coast this summer to put an end to the foolish notion that depression is a weakness. They will also be seeking to further the dialogue about how we treat depression in the United States.

Without their commitment and vision, Mark and Anna would not be riding and countless thousands would be left alone in this fight without hope and the tools to overcome depression.
